Wilkie Collins and Charles Reade. First edition (with a few exceptions) in the library at Dormy House, Pine Valley, New Jersey, described with notes. with the assistance of Elizabeth V. Miller

Edition limited to 150 copies, 4to, pp. x, 354, [2]; 24 plates (16 being collotypes) including portraits of Collins and Reade; a very good copy in original blindstamped terra cotta cloth lettered in gilt on spine, the corners mildly bumped and the spine ends creased, but overall clean and bright, t.e.g., in a similarly bright dust jacket with a handful of small tears, ranging from 1/4" to 1/2" along edges. A hard-to-find reference, especially in this condition, that includes, in addition to the author bibliographies, chapters on errata in the works of each, and a catalogue of posters and programs for their theatrical productions.
