Random House, New York, 1951. SIGNED. 286pp. Octavo [21 cm] 1/4 black cloth with marbled paper over boards, and a gilt stamped title with decorative embellishments on the spine. The cloth is just a touch sunned at the corners, and there is minor bruising at the head of the spine. In the acetate jacket, with rubbing to the surface, and several small closed and open tears in the edges. Brodsky and Hamblin #809. The sequel to "Sanctuary," and a book which is part novel, part play. This edition is limited to seven hundred and fifty numbered copies. This copy is number 445.
