The Bible is in a nicely preserved condition and is complete with all titles. Many illustrations and engravings, including the engraved title page. This is the last Geneva Bible published and marks the end of the era of this extremely important translation and cornerstone of the Protestant Reformation! This Bible is bound with a Book of Common Prayer (complete, title page 1633), Speed’s Genealogies with the double page map (with title page), Complete Bible text with title pages, Apocrypha, Concordances, Admonition and (complete) Whole Booke of Psalmes (with title 1638, including all prayers etc. Text is in large Roman letter font with two columns and the footnotes/commentary in Roman font. Complete Tables/Concordances in the back. Printed with the rare 3 page 'Admonition to the Christian Reader' - explaining why the Apocrypha are not part of the Canon (but they are included in this Bible).
