Bound in full morocco by the Guild of Women Binders singed in gilt on the front turn-in and with their small label to verso of front free endpaper, with a beautiful Art Nouveau design repeated on front and rear covers of lilies in an S-shaped gilt tendril, with petals and buds formed with cream onlays. Very Good with binding lightly marked, light rubbing to extremities and light cracking to exterior hinges though binding is sound. Spine and corners darkened, with light stain to rear cover near spine. A beautiful binding. The Guild of Women Binders was an organization formed at the beginning of the 20th-century to promote and distribute the work of women binders.
