My Man Jeeves.
London: George Newnes, [1919]. London: George Newnes,, [1919]. A very good copy in the first impression binding Small octavo. Original light red cloth, spine lettered in black, decorations to front board in blind. 2 pp. of publisher's advertisements at end. Cocked, lightly soiled and creased, the binding otherwise firm, internally clean and fresh; a very good copy. First edition, first impression. Half of the stories in this collection of eight feature Jeeves, the other half Reggie Pepper, an early prototype for Bertie Wooster. This first impression is not to be confused with the later impression which is distinguishable by the much redder colour of its binding, and is slightly taller. McIlvaine A22a.
