KOMRIJ, Gerrit
The Ultimate Collection! The complete output of Gerrit Komrij as a writer - well, 99% - and more.
Gerrit Komrij (1944-2012) was one of the most versatile authors of the Dutch twentieth century. From his self-published 1963 debut Dekonstruktie in vier delen to the cheerful Literaire Loodgieters masquerade publication Per boot van Venetië naar Padua (issued in only 12 copies), in two variants: one regular and one archive copy. Spectacular artists bookbindings: De Phoenix spreekt in full vellum with a large sun design in gold over the entire binding, one of three copies of Mijn minnaars in limp vellum, and Peper en zout in full leather with brass inlay. Tiny print runs? Badkamer, Fax aan Agaath, In liefde bloeyende, Ik ben een bijl, Pseudo-Ambrosia. Handwritten poems issued with original art by Hans Broekhuijsen and Herman Gordijn.
