Boards decorated in gilt line and floral border. Board edges decorated with a gilt line. Spine discoloured faded. Spine with five raised bands, gilt decorations and gilt titles to the second and fourth compartments. Page edges gilt, top edge gilt has darkened. Paste downs and free endpapers are marbled. Armorial bookplate of the Earl of Bandon to all pastedowns. Inscription of the author on the second blank.
