Complete set of 8 volumes uniformly bound in full leather of the period, spines in 5 compartments ruled in gilt, each volume with a single red leather spine label lettered in gilt, volume number faintly in gilt in the 4th compartment; size approx. 5.2 x 3 inches, each volume with engraved frontispiece facing a tissue-guarded engraved title page, as well as printed title page; some manuscript ownership indications on early blank leaves in most volumes, very light overall age toning, otherwise clean and unmarked, bindings square and tight; all leather covers secure, some mild overall rubbing and dryness, but NO restoration or oiling of the leather has occurred.
