Admiral David Gould was a distinguished Royal Naval Officer, one of Lord Nelson's Band of Brothers at the BAttle of the Nile in 1798. He served in the American Revolutionary, French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. Pages collate as complete; [24], 408pp, 1 folding map (the first detailed map of the Faroe Islands) and 1 folding plate of the whirlpool of Sumsoe, plus one large in-text illustration.
