Green cloth with paper spine labels, illustrated with hand colored pencil signed frontis plates in volumes 1, 5, 8, 9, 10 and 14, other plates in sepia or other monotone colors, top edges gilt, other edges untrimmed. Externally a bit aged with darkened spine labels, some rubbing, light spotting and finger soil to the covers, good hinges, sound text block, large chip to frontis tissue in volume 5, clean pages, no names or other markings.
