Zane Grey.
Zane Grey's First Letter to His Two Year Old Son, Romer Zane Grey.
1912. A heartfelt letter written by Zane Grey to his 2 year old son, Romer Zane Grey, penned on April 11, 1912. "This is the first letter Daddy ever wrote you, and you must keep it, and all the other letters he is going to write," as Zane Grey set about writing the letter to his son, assured that his mother would read it to him. The letter was written when Zane Grey was in New York city shortly after the publication of his best known western "Riders of the Purple Sage." Throughout his life, Romer did as his father requested, at least with this letter. The letter measures 9 x 5 1/2 inches and is in very good condition. .
