Repairs to split hinges. Bookseller's label to rear pastedown. Very light spotting to preliminaries, otherwise very clean internally, with some toning to edges. Jacket toned to spine, with chips and closed tears to edges, and quite heavy rubbing to joints. Very good. A comprehensive treatment of Peking (now Beijing) for the English-speaking tourist or long-term resident, originally published in 1919 and updated here for the second time.
