Signed, dated, and titled by the artist to the bottom edge. The painting measures 39 x 49.7cm, while the frame measures 43.8 x 59.4cm. The painting, showing Jim Hawkins firing two pistols at a tumbling pirate, is rendered using a fresh colour palette and a dynamic composition which come together to create a stunning image that is full of movement and life.
