Exceptionally clean with only light rubbing and minor scuffs to the edges. Hinges are very slightly cracked but the binding is solid. Minimal foxing to a few pages but very clean overall. Excellent engravings and some colour plates all present and clean. Fold out map bound after the preface. From the library of politician George Tomline with his bookplate on the front paste-down. DP. Very Good.
