Full velum type hardback binding with embossed gilt decorated spine & front cover in very good condition, minor dirt, ageing. Contents mostly Very Good, clean & tight, inside front cover 2 owner inscriptions Nov 1903 & Dec 1928. Pages not uniform size at edge, so some rubbing/ageing to edges that are widest, edge tear to one page, pages 441-448 index are uncut, still retains its original thin material page marker, 2 plates near front very good and clean, Large Map in pocket rear very good and clean, a couple of minor edge folds, tiny edge tear. Very rare to find a copy with the original large wall map as the map is now worth much more than the book. Size: 14 x 21.5cm Approx [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
