"A's for America...E's for the Enemy": Allied alphabet propaganda from Dagwood and Blondie, scarce in the original dust jacket. An ABC for the young patriot: "B is for Blackout which may come at night; C is for courage which makes a man fight". Fantastic World War II-era primer of wartime virtues ("Freedom of Worship / Of Press and of Speech / With Freedom from Want / In Everyone's Reach") and vices: "But enemies too / Are this dangerous breed: Indifference, Selfishness / Gossip and Greed."
