Green leather bookplate with gilt decorative border and lettering. Deckled edges. Association copy. Marking on front flyleaf. [5] pp. text, 16 leaves of plates in B&W. French. Two publications bound together. Striped ribbon bookmark. Coat of arms and bookplate belonging to Harry and Caressa (aka Polly) Crosby -- famous members of the Lost Generation. Coat of arms bears motto "saes mea supre" ("hope is over"). A book of 16 reproductions after paintings by Henri Matisse. VG, slight shelf wear and deterioration at front interior hinge, mild foxing, age-tinting at extremities, overall very clean and tight. [Attributes: Hard Cover]
