Harcourt Brace and Company, 1955. First Edition Copy of A Good Man is Hard to Find by Flannery O Connor (Harcourt Brace and Company, 1955). The book is in good condition with some bumping on the spine and wear on the edges of the cover. Has the typo tyring on page 125, a first edition point. Dust jacket is in good condition with chipping and an open tear on the top of the spine. Note about the dust jacket, while the book is a true first the dust jacket is a later printing as it includes reviews about the book on the back cover. The book is inscribed by Harry Crews and Kent Wascom. Harry Crews writes, "Dearly Beloved, here is the real thing of which the rest of us are only a cheap imitation. -Harry Crews." Kent Wascom writes, "I ran in the traces of the gods and the furies and Harry Crews is the God and Flannery is the fury. Now and forever." [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover; In Dust Jacket]
