The Stones of Summer: A Yoeman's Notes 1942 - 1969
Bobbs-Merrill, New York and Indianapolis, 1972. First edition. A tiny bit of spotting on the spine and to the top edge, still just about fine in moderately rubbed, very good plus dustwrapper with a faint stain on the front panel, and a couple of very tiny nicks at the crown. Advance Review Copy with slip laid in. A well-reviewed, sprawling novel that dropped from view with barely a ripple, only to be revived when documentary filmmaker Mark Moskowitz began a quest to track down the author, resulting in his award-winning 2002 film *Stone Reader*. Very scarce. [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover; In Dust Jacket]
