First omnibus edition, first impression, of the Earthsea trilogy, one of the most beloved fantasy series of the 20th century. Inscribed by the author on the title page, "To Richard Frahm, Ursula Le Guin". Le Guin first explored the world of Earthsea in her 1964 short story "The World of Unbinding", and the three main novels were first published in the US in 1968, 1971, and 1972. Two other Earthsea novels, Tehanu and The Other Wind, followed in 1990 and 2001, but it is the original three, here published together for the first time, that established Le Guin as one of America's foremost fantasy authors.
