Frontsipiece with tissue guard and illustrated by Harold Millar. Bookseller's ticket to front pastedown. Spine a touch faded, front inner hinge partly cracked but firm, one tip a little worn, contents clean and unmarked. A very good, bright copy. First edition, first impression, of the concluding work in Nesbit's children's trilogy. Preceded by Five Children and It and The Phoenix and the Carpet, Nesbit's time-travelling narrative is notable for including a trip into the future, featuring Nesbit's vision of a socialist utopia in which H.
