Poetry by Barr (original name Juanita Slusher), who was a stripper, porn actress, and prostitute (mostly active in California) who captured the public's imagination in the 1950s and 1960s. She dated Mickey Cohen and Jack Ruby, shot her second husband, and served time in prison for a marihuana conviction. She later moved to Texas, where most reports are that she was a good citizen.
