Very Good, dark brown binding with gilt lettering on spine, Volume 1 newly rebound, text block edges a bit pulpy, Volume 2 and 3 show some age spotting and fraying to spine edges and board corners, small previous owner sticker top front pastedown of all Volumes, previous owner ink info stamp front pastedown Volume 2 and 3 only else unmarked, bit of age spotting throughout else interior clean, very few small dog eared pages, moisture stains along rear free endpaper and rear pastedown margins Volume 2, small moisture stain bottom text block edge Volume 3, heavy ago spotting/scattered foxing to frontis-portrait/tissue and title page of Volume 1, slightly starting hinges Volume 2 and 3 but binding intact and sturdy, some scattered foxing/age toning to text block edges, overall in a very good condition.
