1981. Original Photographs of Richard Brautigan . A collection of eight contact sheets and eight 8-by-10-inch original black-and-white photographic prints. On both March 21, 1981, and March 4, 1982, Roger Ressmeyer took photographs of Richard Brautigan, the first time for a People Magazine article and the second time for publicity photographs for Brautigan's book, So the Wind Won't Blow It All Away. This collection includes images from both photo shoots. The People article, "A Happy But Footsore Writer Celebrates His Driver's Block" (People Weekly, June 8, 1981) was based on an interview with Cheryl McCall. She focussed on the fact that Brautigan didn't drive. She followed Brautigan around San Francisco as he rode in a rickshaw pulled by his friend Dwain Ric [Thumbnails Below] Original Photographs of Richard Brautigan Author: Ressmeyer, Roger [Richard Brautigan] Publication: 1981 Condition: Fine. None of the images are signed by Ressmeyer; it isn't clear which, if any, of the markings on the backs of the prints, are by Ressmeyer.
