Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" This edition, the second in English, is the first to present all three volumes of Golovnin's narrative as a set. iv, lxxxix, 315; 356, [ii]; viii, 302pp., pluis one leaf of ads at the back. Original purple cloth over boards, spines and extremities mostly faded to tan, the covers with a fair amount of old staining; spine cracked, and crudely repaired in some places, paper spine labels with titles in holograph supplied at a later date. Contemporary owner's signature on the title-pages, volume three retaining it's half-title. An uncut set, contents in nice condition, in original boards.
