The unclipped dustjacket has minor shelfwear, and has an extra crease along the edge of the rear board, and does not have the often encountered fading to the spine; protected in archival mylar. There is a small stain to the closed page edges of the final 150 pages of text, which also stained a small spot on the edge and inside panel of the rear board. The text is otherwise clean and unmarked. National Book Award winner (which Pynchon declined) and the William Dean Howells Medal for the best work of fiction to appear in America over a 5-year period. First edition. Very good condition.
