Archaeological Survey of India, Allahabad, 1894. A particularly scare item, virtually unobtainable in a complete set. Four quarto volumes, worn board covers, cloth to spine. Corners and spines are worn and rubbed. Part I: 1894, Pp.xix + 38 + 120 plates, which include photographs, drawings and plans, some folding. The first 15 plates in colour. Part II: 1896, pp.v + 34 + 103 plates. Part III: 1897, pp.10 + 58 +90 plates. Part IV: 1898, + 47 + 88 plates. Each Part includes a list of the Volumes of the Survey of India currently available, and there are a small number of other contemporary advertisements at the rear of each one.
