The set complete in twelve volumes.With the bookplate of William Edward Dodd in each volume; Dodd was the Ambassador to Germany in the run-up to the second World War and was the subject of Erik Larson's In the Garden of Beasts. ~The set deaccessioned from a library with an old-fashioned card holder on the rear board of each volume and Discard stamped on the title page. In the publisher's blue cloth which has had stickers removed from the spines; the spines have been re-colored and are a bit splotchy, with some discoloration to the gilt titling. This set is The Federal Edition, and is #234 of 1000 ~numbered sets. Good binding.
