National edition, number 987 of 1,050 copies only. A lavish limited edition preserving the legacy of Daniel Webster (1782-1852), US Senator and Secretary of State. Famed for his ability as an orator, Webster was one of the most important figures in US politics in the first half of the 19th century. In Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, James Stewart's character is astonished to find out he will be sitting in the same seat where Daniel Webster once sat.
