1690. Bella e decorativa carta geografica dell'Inghilterra in due fogli. Arricchita da due cartigli, uno con la dedica al Badoer. La carta del Coronelli è inclusa sia nell'Isolario che nel Corso Geografico Universale. In buone condizioni. Attractive two sheet map of Engalnd. England is divided within the boundaries of the seven ancient Anglo-Saxon kingdoms, and some alternative place names are given (marked with an asterisk) based on Ptolemaic or other classical sources such as Tacitus and Bede. An inset of the British Isles is included in the upper sheet. The remarkable Vincenzo Coronelli (1650-1718), encyclopaedist, geographer, inventor and Doctor of Theology, was a citizen of the Republic of Venice. He was also one of the most prominent mapmakers and publishers in the Europe of his day. The map is both include in Corso Geografico Universale and Isolario by Coronelli. Good condition.
