1574. " Seconda versione della carta dell'Asia di Abraham Ortelius, inserita negli esemplari del ""Theatrum Orbis Terrarum"" di Ortelius a partire dal 1574. Deriva dalla mappa murale del continente dello stesso Ortelius, a sua volta basata sulle mappe di Giacomo Gastaldi (1559-1561). Esemplare tratto dall'edizione latina del 1603, edita da J. B. Vrients. Incisione in rame, finemente colorata a mano, fori di tarlo restaurati ai margini, per il resto in perfetto stato di conservazione. From west to east, this map offers numerous elements worthy of further study. The Caspian Sea, according to the convention of the time, is presented on an east-west rather than north-south axis.
