Publisher's advance reading copy of the author's first book. True first edition of the first volume in the "Chronicles of the Vampire" series. First Edition stated on copyright page. Bound in publisher's original white pictorial wraps with black lettering & author's photograph to front cover. Lower front cover (below publisher's review) printed with "To be published in May; $8.95". The rear cover & spine are both blank (white), as issued.
