Raised bands with inked titles to spines. Black and red title page in volume one. Headpieces, tailpieces, initials, capitals.Vellum has separated from text block at top of spine of volume one. Heavy aging, rubbing, and tearing along the extremities of vol. one. Bookplate and notes to front pastedown and front free end paper. Underlining and margin notes through page 69 and pages 106, 1474, 1475 only to vol. one. 1/2 inch hole to vellum at bottom of spine of vol. one. Interior pages are clean and fairly bright. Overall condition of vol. one to be good plus. Overlapped vellum missing from lower half of front board of vol. two. Previous owner's signature and stamp, Library of the Society of Agriculture of Douai, to title page of vol. two. Light spotting, limited mostly to the first 60 pages of vol. two.
