The "Collector's Edition", limited to 139 hand-numbered copies printed by hand on Strathmore Chroma text with Strathmore Pastelle endpapers, a handmade mingei paper dust wrapper, with a matching green cloth slipcase. This is copy No. 122, signed by Gene Wolfe and the illustrator, Judy King-Rieniets. There was also a "Publisher's Edition" of 50 copies in a different binding and traycased, also 10 lettered copies for private distribution. A fine copy, without dust jacket, in cloth slipcase, as issued. A Modern Rarity. Published by Jan and George O'Nale under the imprint of CHEAP STREET; Jan once said that when Saint Peter asked her what she had done that might get her into heaven, she'd tell him she'd published this book. An add-on title to THE BOOK OF THE NEW SUN series; this story was contained in Severian's Brown Book which he carries with him throughout his travels.
