Arnold published in commemoration of his death. Preface by Jacob Voorsanger, a prominent rabbi who was active in Ohio, Texas, and San Francisco during the late 19th century (EJ, 2007) . This copy was gifted to Rabbi William Rosenau (1865-1943) . Rosenau was a leader of Reform Judaism in America. While serving as rabbi of Ohab Shalom in Baltimore, Rosenau abolished compulsory hat-wearing during services and introduced a Friday evening sermon. SUBJECT(S) : Judaism.
