Ray Bradbury
The Illustrated Man
Doubleday, 1951. A collection of eighteen science fiction short stories. First edition. First printing. Inscribed on the title page: "For Ross / From / the / Illustrated Man himself / Ray Bradbury / L.A 1975 / April Fools Day." A near fine copy, with mild toning to the cloth at the top and bottom to the boards, gentle offsetting to the pastedowns, and the tiniest trace of soiling to the bottom of the rear pastedown. The ownership stamp of Ross Figgins on the first free endpaper. Bright, unclipped dust jacket very nearly fine, with close to no fading whatsoever to the spine, and very uncommon as such. The tiniest closed tear to the bottom of the jacket's spine. Otherwise, an exceptional example, rarely seen in this condition. [Attributes: First Edition; Signed Copy; Hard Cover; In Dust Jacket]
