Loosely inserted is an ALS from 196 Adelaide Road, South Hampstead, N.W, 'Monday morning', to (Joseph) Hatton presenting a copy of this book, signed Ben L Farjeon. 22 lines on 2pp. 'Here's the 'Miser' sent off in a hurry - a long day's work before me. Apart from the main line of the story a special interest is (as I have been informed) to be found in the dramatic chapters - chaps 9 to 12 vol. I & chaps 6 to 9 vol. 2'.
