Frederick A. Stokes, New York, 1890. Five volumes 16mo. (4 7/8" x 6 1/2") hardcovers in three quarter maroon cloth over flowered paper covered boards, spine lettered and lined in gilt, top edge gilt. Generally fine, slight bump to the upper corner of two volumes, small previous ownership lable top outer corner of the front pastedowns of each volume. Interiors clean, bindings firm. "Pride and Prejudice" (358 pp.), "Emma" (456 pp.), "Sense and Sensibility' (340 pp.), "Mansfield Park" (442 pp.) are each in a single volume; "Northanger Abbey" and "Persuasion" are combined in a single volume. A very scarce complete set of Austen's works; any of the very few 19th century sets is quite uncommon. [Attributes: Hard Cover]
