The book closes with a brief text on art and five magnificent decorative sketches by the architect Harry Täuber, entitled 'martyr' / 'the hanged' / 'corps at the dissection table' / 'loony bin' / 'cocaine' plus two color plates of figurines. This rendering is representative for the decadent and scandalous artistic atmosphere of the time, in particular the circles Droste and Berber frequented. The collaboration of Berber and Droste is based on their performance of the same name. The expressionistic imagery and poetry in this publication conveys perfectly the Angst and cynicism of the Berlin subcultures during the Weimar Republic. Text in German. Covers slightly rubbed with light water stain on front cover and text block age-toned. Binding in overall very good, block in good+, images in near fine condition.
