Photographic plates including portrait of Jacoulet, signed and dated by him in blue ink with color and black and white reproductions of his prints, contains color woodblock print Christmas card "Les Jades" tipped-in, and two loose color prints of a mermaid laid-in. Jacoulet, a Frenchman who lived in Tokyo in the early part of the 20th century through World War II, and who was a superb craftsman in the ukiyo-etechnique. This first and only edition provides: List of Prints and prices for some of his work. Japanese style binding, sewn spine of hand made paper with block printed front cover label.
