The Reilly & Britton Company, Chicago, 1907. Tan boards with black titles and illustrations stamped in red, blue, yellow are bright, showing light rubbing, soiling, and edge wear. Hinges and text block are secure. Six inches of the spine are starting to separate from the hinge , but the spine is still holding. A former owner has filled in the "This book belongs to" section on the ffep. The 272 pages are otherwise unmarked. Colored plates throughout with color pictorial endpapers. This copy is the First edition, first printing, in the first state of both binding and text. The publisher on the spine reads "The Reilly & Britton Co.". The lext has the following points: the "O" in "Ozma" on p. [11], line five, which is lacking in later copies; the illustration p. [221] printed in color; the advertisement p. [272] listing only two titles. A very presentable first edition, first printing copy of Baum's 3rd Oz book. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
