Burnham, Daniel H.; Bennett, Edward H.
Plan of Chicago
Commercial Club, Chicago, 1909. Limited to 1650 copies, this copy being presented by The Commercial Club to the Field Museum Library in Chicago. Very Good. Green buckram, minimally rubbed and bumped at the corners, with gilt lettering on the designs on the spine and front board, library sticker at the foot of the spine. Square and firmly bound but with the front hinge slightly over-extended, Field Museum markings on the title page, clean otherwise. A landmark work of architecture and city planning, the Burnham Plan laid the groundwork for Chicago's streets, parks, railroads, and buildings. [Attributes: First Edition; Hard Cover]
