First and only edition, very scarce, of a work written when Jung-Stilling (1740–1817) was lecturer in cameralist sciences at Marburg. "As an economic writer, Jung belongs to the philanthropic and eclectic school, with strong absolutistic leanings which flourished in Germany during the second half of the 18th century under the influence of Sonnenfels, and of his theory of the largest possible population... Jung was opposed to craft monopolies (guilds), but favourable to the craft system." (Palgrave). Menger, col. 49; cf.
