Rare BroadsheetArtists and Engravers: Made by an anonymous engraver after 'Adriaen van de Venne'. Adriaen Pietersz van de Venne (1589-1662), was a reknown Dutch painter of allegories, genre subjects and portraits, as well as a miniaturist and designer of political satires, book illustrations and a versifier. Condition: Good, given age. Ample margins, old folds and creasing. The image and the text below the image were originally two separate sheets, here joined together. Text lacks a part in the lower left, backed with paper and the border partly drawn in. Sold w.a.f. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling.
