Original printed blue wrappers with trade advertisements to inner sides as well as outside back wrappers, with a variety of publishers ads and slips bound-in. Housed in a green silk chemise and green morocco pull-off case with gilt panels and titling. The backstrips and edges are chipped and repaired with about five rebacked, one wrapper is stained, the plates mostly clean but a few foxed or browned, lacks almost all advertisements and slips, the backstrip to the case has sunned to an almost gold-brown. First edition in original parts, with plates after Buss, Seymour and Browne. The wrappers I-XI are late issue, the plates are in a mixed state but with the BLISS plates in part 3, the text is split between the first and second states.
