Fisr published in Small 4to, approximately 180 x 140 mm, 7 x 5½ inches, LACKS TITLE PAGE, SUPPLIED IN A HIGH QUALITY FACSIMILE ON OLD PAPER. Pages: [6], [1] 2-214, [20]= table, last page blank, pages 171-174 misnumbered, should be 211-214, all catch words correct, see ESTC S108936 which collates the same as our copy. Bound in full modern panel calf, with maroon gilt lettered label and decoration to spine, new endpapers, all edges maroon. Small repairs to inner margin of first page and 4 following pages, not affecting text, final leaf of table skilfully repaired, just affecting the last three lines of text, no loss, small hole to bottom margin of page 112 just touching the text, with no loss of meaning, small burn hole to page 83 with loss of 1 word to recto and verso, small worm hole to inner margins occasionally just touching text, 2 margins have small hole not affecting text, 2 leaves have small tears with loss to top corners, not affecting text, several small close tears to margins, not affecting text, pale soiling to a few pages and margins, occasional pale brown spot,and ink spot, otherwise a good tight copy. The work is a collection of curious remedies and contains a number of conjuring tricks.
