Marvel 1965 - THE GREEN GOBLIN MAKES HIS THIRD COVER AND STORY APPEARANCE HERE! The art is spectacular, by the Legendary STEVE DITKO . The Stan Lee story is also remarkable, setting up key elements of The Goblin's persona. CONDITION is gorgeous. We have carefully counted every page and the book is complete. The cover colors are especially deep and rich. It looks almost new, with extremely supple cream colored pages. Due primarily to slight wear visible upon close inspection (see tiny creases at bottom of front cover), we grade it VERY FINE. SCANS: We are providing large scans so everyone can see how nice this is. Top price guide value as we write this, for those who are interested, is $1125. This is a spectacular comic book!         For Kicks

Michael Joseph, London 1965 - This is a Very Good Copy of this Hardcover book in publisher's original green cloth with gilt title lettering to spine,in a Good Dust-Jacket which has approx 1'' of loss to the wrapper at the base of spine, there is some further rubbing and wear to head of spine and to the corners of the dust-wrapper.There is a little darkening to the colour tone of the d/j along spine and the book has a little fading to base of spine where the chip from the wrapper is.Price clipped and the book has one previous owner's inscription to the front endpaper,SIGNED by Dick Francis without any dedication on the Title Page. There is some light general spotting/foxing to the fore-edge of the book. The text block remains clean and there are NO turned corners to pages. The book has a firm binding with no hinge weakness, there is no leaning to spine and there are NO loose leaves etc.Nice firm tight square copy.In our experience this title appears harder to come across than 'Nerve' his second racing thriller. It's certainly a rare item and much sought after by collectors. The dust-jacket comes protected in a removable cover sleeve.8vo 256pp First UK Edition 1st Impression [Attributes: First Edition; Signed Copy; Hard Cover]
