Vincenzo Maria CORONELLI (Ravenna 1650 - Venezia 1718)
Rarissima. A very rare map taken from Coronelli's "Teatro della Guerra diviso in XXXXVIII parti" published in Venice (though the front page says Naples) between 1706 and 1709. The collection contains hundreds of views, geographic maps and sea charts depicting the entire world. Ermanno Ermao, who studied Coronelli's production, wrote "it is not easy to determine how many and which are the volumes that belong to the collection ". Some of the maps derive from those already published in the Isolario in 1696, with minor changes; nonetheless, the majority of the views has been realized exclusively for this collection. Copper engraving, in perfect condition. Extremely rare. Venezia Venice 180 125

TOLAND, John.
Thomas Johnson, 1709 - Hagae-Comitis (La Hague), Thomas Johnson, 1709. In 8 de 18 ff. n. ch. A Treatise Shewing, That there is nothing in the Gospel Contrary to Reason, Nor Above It: And that no Christian Doctrine can be properly called A Mystery'' (1696), ''Life of Milto … [Click Below for Full Description]

London: Christopher Bateman, 1709. RARE COMPLETE FIRST EDITION. Octavo, pp.xiv, 564; 133; 7. All text in Latin. With a frontispiece engraving of Robert II Estienne and several examples of the Estienne colophon. Complete with the catalogue of printed works and the appendix, often missing. Original titles label missing, with blind tooling impression still visible to spine. Upper joint split, still firm; lower joint starting. Corners heavily bumped, with age-appropriate general wear. GAROFALO Biagio.
Francesco Gonzaga, 1709. "Indirizzato all'Illustrissimo Signor Marchese Giangiuseppe Orsi". "Impressione seconda, Con una Lettera Latina nel medesimo Suggetto". Testo latino, con citazioni in greco antico. Cm.18,1x11,8. Pg.(8),144. Ottima legatura coeva in piena pergamena rigida. Fogli di guardia marmorizzati e tagli spruzzati in rosso e nero. Capilettera finemente incisi. Freschissimo esemplare, ad ampi margini, splendidamente conservato. Nel volume è contenuta "Octavii Caryophili Pro Considerationibus Italicis Il Librum Gallicum "De Modo Recte Cogitandi", Epistola adversus Anonymi Academici Obtrectationes", in lingua latina.
