Villedieu, Marie Catherine Hortense Desjardins de:
Paris suyant la Copie imprimee -74, 1672. 12°. 168; 164; 192 S. mit 3 Titel- bzw. 3 Zwischentitelblätter. Pergamentband der Zeit, berieben, etwas fleckig, hs. Namenszug auf Titel verso. Erste vollständige Ausgabe. Die ersten beiden Teile waren schon 1671 erschienen. "Memoirs of the Life of Henriette-Sylvie de Moliere, a semi-autobiographical novel, portrays an enterprising woman who writes the story of her life, a complex tale that runs counter to social expectations and romantic conventions. A most striking work, the novel skillfully mixes real events from the author's lifetime with entirely fictional adventures. At a time when few women published, Villedieu's Memoirs is a significant achievement in creating a voice for the early modern woman writer. Written while the French novel form was still in its infancy, it should be welcomed by any scholar of women's writing or of the early development of the novel." (Klappentext zur Neuausgabe). 300 gr.

MURCHIO ANTONIO (VINCENZO MARIA DI S. CATERINA DA SIENA).
Roma, Filippomaria Mancini, 1672. (registro). Legatura settecentesca in mezza pelle. Antico talloncino in carta applicato all'occhietto a coprire una firma d'appartenenza seicentesca; occasionali, assai lievi bruniture. Prima edizione. Opera stimatissima (cfr. [Click Below for Full Description]

Scheuchzer, Johann Jacob. Scheuchzer, Johann Jacob..
