Holy Bible
1658 COMPLETE John Field Holy BIBLE London King James KJV + Book of Psalms An incredibly rare 1658 English John Field Bible. John Field was notable for his Greek Bibles; however, this edition is considered to be ‘genuine’, per Darlow & Moule. More specifically, this edition is thought to be more correctly printed than previous Field Bibles, even though it retains a number of small mistakes including that in Jeremiah 2:26 – ‘chief’ for ‘thief’. This example is entirely complete with the Old and New Testaments, along with a separate title page for ‘Book of Psalms’. On the general title page, Field printed a charming view of London, indicative of 1658 Fields. Item number: #5676 Price: $1500 Holy Bible The Holy Bible: containing the Old Testament and the New : newly translated out of the originall tongues and with the former translations diligently compared and revised by his Majesties speciall command.
[Click Below for Full Description]
